Chamomile was widely used in medieval Britain for its calming and medicinal properties, often grown in monastic herb gardens. Figs, though rarer and imported from warmer regions, were prized in cooking and occasionally grown in England, typically enjoyed by wealthier individuals.
Hand-poured with soy wax and infused with natural essential oils, this candle ensures a clean burn with minimal waste. Once the candle has burned down, the jar can be repurposed as a decorative piece, with or without a tealight, adding a touch of vintage charm to your home—a candle with eco-friendly credentials.
For the best burn, allow the entire surface of the wax to melt during the first use. Candles, much like ancient memories, recall their first burn, ensuring an even flame every time thereafter.
