Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout.

You can redeem the value of a gift card by entering its unique code at checkout. This code isn't case sensitive.

A gift card holds a balance, which can be spent over more than one order.

If you are buying a gift card for someone else, then you will need to forward the gift card email to the recipient.

How long is the voucher valid for?

The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Can a gift card be used more than once?

Yes, provided there is still a balance remaining on the card.

Can gift cards be reloaded?

Unfortunately, gift cards cannot be reloaded.

Can I use the gift card to make a part payment?

When the recipient redeems a gift card, the checkout displays one of the following options:

If the balance available on the gift card is greater than or equal to the order total, you will be prompted to Complete order.

If the balance available on the gift card is less than the order total, you will be prompted to choose a second payment method for the remaining balance before placing the order.

Can more than one gift card be used towards a purchase?

Yes. You can redeem another gift card during checkout.

Can I use the gift card in your bricks and mortar shop?

No, these gift cards can only be purchased and redeemed online. 

How do I check my balance?

At this time, customers can't check their own gift card balance, but do email shop@bl.uk and we can check for you.

Can a gift card be used to buy a gift card?

No, you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card.

Can a gift card be used to pay for shipping and taxes?

Yes, gift cards are applied to the final order total which includes shipping and taxes.

Can I apply a discount code to my gift card purchase?

Most discount codes cannot be applied to gift cards. The exception is a product specific discount code where the product is a gift card.

Can gift cards be used in conjunction with a discount code?

Yes, gift cards are a form of payment.

Can I customise the amount for a gift card purchase?

No. Unfortunately we are unable to customise the amount on gift cards at this time, we are looking into this.

Is there tax on gift cards?

No. Gift cards are considered a form of currency, so purchasing one will not incur tax.

When you pay for an order using a gift card, you're charged tax for that order where applicable.

 

Changed your mind?

Gift cards are only refundable if unused and requested by the original purchaser.

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. This includes gift card purchases, which will be credited onto a gift card.
