    Magna Carta (1215) print

Magna Carta, as agreed by King John and the barons of England on 15 June 1215. This is one of the four surviving copies of Magna Carta which, according to one account, was discovered in a London tailor’s shop, before being presented to Sir Robert Cotton (d. 1631). Two of the surviving copies are held by the British Library and the other two in Lincoln and Salisbury.
