This TBCo Small Blanket with fringe is woven from soft lambswool.

Lambswool is the highest quality sheep’s wool. Gathered from a lamb’s first shearing, meaning the fibres are smoother, stronger and hold more elasticity than any other wool. The unique crimps in the individual strands generate air pockets that retain heat while repelling moisture, keeping you warm when you’re cool and cool when you’re warm. Along with being a naturally insulating, breathable and hypoallergenic textile, it’s beautifully soft. Doesn’t get much better than that.

The Tartan Blanket Co. was born out of a desire to create a company with real passion and real soul. Emma and Fergus wanted to create beautiful, natural products which would bring warmth to people's hearts and homes, as well as having a truly positive impact on the world around us.

Their partner mill is a family business based in Inner Mongolia that uses traditional, people-led farming methods, putting the animals welfare first. They also work with local dyers, spinners, weavers and finishers, which supports the village community and maintains end-to-end production transparency and control.
